General Camp

Each year’s General Camp features ministry to God’s people through both well-qualified and anointed ministers of the Gospel who are able to preach the Word and through carefully selected and talented musicians who promote an atmosphere of praise and worship. Gifted children’s and youth workers are also selected for ministry in their areas of expertise.

Those who attend General Camp also benefit from opportunities for fellowship and encouragement. Over the years, many brothers and sisters have enjoyed times of “rejoicing with those who rejoice and weeping with those who weep.” The various departments of the COGH are also able to give updates and reports. Throughout its rich history, General Camp has been a place where commitments are made, faith is strengthened, and souls are added to the Kingdom.

The annual Convention of the Churches of God (Holiness), at which various boards and committees are elected and other important church business is transacted, is held in conjunction and cooperation with General Camp. By working together with COGH departments and local congregations, General Camp is a crucial part of the ongoing mission to exalt Christ, equip the Church, and evangelize the world!
