Zech. 12:6-10
It was nearing midnight. The semi-truck loaded with bales of had headed west on 1-70. The driver was not aware that he had lost some of his cargo. Now bales of hay were strewn across the way. A few miles behind a Christian family sped through the night. The children in the car had enjoyed the Kid’s Camp and were headed home. The headlight pierced the darkness of the night. Too late the driver saw objects on the highway. In the split seconds that followed the driver realized that her only option was to pick which bale to hit. Later as the highway patrol recorded details of the accident and the tow truck driver loaded the totaled car of the uninjured family they realized how fortunate they were. The bale of hay they hit went under the car. Since it did not hit the bumper squarely the airbags were not deployed. If that had been the case they probably would have lost control of the car.
The grace of God is not just known during times of altar services and glorious camp meeting experiences. The grace of God is experienced again and again in many displays of favor that are not always realized. God watches over His people with tender, loving care.
